The Sr. IT Analyst Role
The Sr. IT Analyst plays a key role in supporting ERP plant operations throughout the implementation and ongoing operation of the ERP system. This role serves as the primary liaison between plant users, business stakeholders, and IT teams to ensure system stability, user adoption, and continuous process improvement. Supports Help Desk operations and provides technical assistance to end users.
Responsibilities
- Support ERP functional activities, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze processes and work with IT teams to recommend best-practice solutions.
- Support the configuration of the ERP system to meet business requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Prepare and maintain functional specifications, process documentation, and configuration documents.
- Lead and support testing activities (unit, integration, UAT) and resolve defects.
- Assist with data migration and system conversion activities.
- Respond to end-user requests via phone, email, ticketing systems, or in-person.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, including PCs, tablets, phones, printers, and related equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding manufacturing execution systems and shop floor processes.
- Knowledge of discrete and/or process manufacturing environments.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with incident management/help desk processes.
- Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA and/or SAP Digital Manufacturing.
- Industry experience in automotive supply and/or automotive manufacturing.
- Strong stakeholder and client-facing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Results-driven with continuous improvement mindset.
- Based in the Franklin, IN office or other company facilities as required.
- May require frequent travel between facilities, sister companies, suppliers, and customers.
- On-call support may be required during critical periods.
