As a Mainframe Developer, you will maintain and modernize critical COBOL applications that power essential systems in sectors like banking and insurance. You will serve as a key link between legacy infrastructure and modern business needs, ensuring high availability and efficiency for large-scale data processing.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain mission-critical applications using COBOL, CICS, and DB2.
• Manage and optimize mainframe batch and online processing workflows using JCL and VSAM.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis for system failures.
• Support modernization initiatives to integrate legacy systems with contemporary cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure system stability and security by adhering to enterprise coding standards and best practices.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Mainframe Development.
• Proven expertise in maintaining and modernizing COBOL applications on IBM mainframes.
• Proficiency in core mainframe technologies including CICS, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.
• Hands-on experience with both mainframe batch and online transaction processing.
• Strong understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and technical troubleshooting.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
