As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively identifying and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to troubleshooting, ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, investigation, and collaboration to maintain system stability and performance, contributing significantly to the overall business continuity and user satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to streamline issue resolution and improve system reliability.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Red Hat OS Administration.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Linux Operations.
• Strong knowledge of system monitoring and performance tuning on Red Hat platforms.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to operating system and application interactions.
• Experience with scripting and automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with security best practices and patch management in Red Hat environments.
