About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux Engineer to join a global organization and play a key role in maintaining, securing, and optimizing enterprise Linux environments. You will be responsible for designing, managing, and enhancing Linux infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business operations, security initiatives, and engineering requirements.This is an excellent opportunity to work in an international environment on modern infrastructure technologies with a strong focus on automation, security, and cross-platform integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise Linux environments, including servers, user endpoints, Docker infrastructure, configuration management, patching, VPNs, and firewall administration.
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and reliable Linux infrastructure solutions.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure high availability across Linux platforms.
- Support connectivity, remote management, conditional access, and centralized log aggregation.
- Integrate Linux environments with Microsoft enterprise technologies, including Entra ID, Intune, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
- Develop secure connectivity solutions for corporate resources and R&D environments using Cloudflare technologies.
- Ensure compliance with security standards through risk assessments, security best practices, and audit support.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to deliver robust technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
- Support and troubleshoot Linux-based R&D and CI/CD environments.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise Linux environments.
- Strong expertise with Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux, including installation, upgrades, centralized management, configuration, and security.
- Experience with Docker and Linux infrastructure administration.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and services, including:
- Cloudflare
- DNS
- DHCP
- NTP
- SNMP
- Experience with firewall administration, VPN technologies, and configuration management.
- Proven ability to monitor, diagnose, and resolve Linux system performance issues.
- Experience supporting R&D and CI/CD environments.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Swedish or Polish language skills are considered an advantage.
