At Gradion, we’re looking for a Technical Rockstar to operate across teams and projects, tackling problems that require deep engineering judgment: architecture, system design, scalability, performance, reliability, technical debt, and emerging technologies.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You’ll design systems, write code, prototype ideas, debug complex issues, review critical implementations, and work directly with engineers and Tech Leads on problems that need deeper technical expertise.

Your influence won’t come from managing people. It comes from the systems you improve, the technical decisions you shape, and the engineers you make better.

We’re building an AI-first engineering organization, and we want to go beyond AI-assisted coding. You’ll explore and apply technologies such as LLMs, AI APIs, agents, RAG, AI evaluation, and AI-native development to real engineering and product problems.

The goal isn’t to use AI everywhere. It’s to figure out where it creates real leverage, build it properly, and turn what works into repeatable engineering practices.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with strong hands-on depth.
• Deep expertise in software architecture, system design, scalability, performance, distributed systems, and reliability.
• Experience influencing technical direction across teams or complex projects.
• Strong programming skills and the ability to get into unfamiliar codebases quickly.
• Experience building production AI/LLM systems or AI-powered products.
• Strong technical judgment and pragmatic decision-making.
• Ability to mentor and influence senior engineers without relying on formal authority.
• Curiosity and the habit of continuously exploring new technologies.
