ANALYTICS ENGINEER

This is an exciting opportunity for an Analytics Engineer to take ownership of the full data lifecycle within a growing, data-driven business. You'll work across analytics engineering, data engineering, and business intelligence, helping shape how data powers decision-making, product development, and commercial growth.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Analytics Engineer will:

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines from source systems through to analytics-ready datasets
• Develop scalable and well-documented transformation pipelines using dbt and BigQuery
• Write and maintaining Python-based data ingestion and automation processes
• Create dashboards, reports, and KPI frameworks to support commercial, marketing, and product teams
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions
• Monitor data quality and identifying opportunities to improve platform performance and scalability
• Support the adoption of self-service analytics across the organisation

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Strong commercial experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery and related cloud services
• Hands-on expertise with dbt, including testing, documentation, and data modelling
• Advanced SQL skills with experience optimising queries and building analytical datasets
• Strong Python skills for data extraction, automation, and orchestration
• Experience building dashboards and reporting solutions using BI tools such as Looker Studio, Metabase, or similar
• Familiarity with Git, version control, and modern engineering practices
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of projects from inception to delivery
