The Role

• Install, configure, maintain, and support IBM CICS environments on z/OS.
• Monitor CICS regions to ensure high availability, stability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CICS-related incidents and production issues.
• Perform CICS performance analysis and tuning.
• Support application deployments and configuration changes.
• Work closely with application developers, system programmers, and infrastructure teams.
• Analyze system logs, dumps, and CICS traces to identify and resolve issues.
• Participate in system upgrades, maintenance activities, and migration projects.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and security policies.

• Minimum 10 years of experience supporting IBM CICS environments.
• Strong knowledge of IBM z/OS.
• Hands-on experience with CICS TS administration and support.
• Experience with JCL, TSO/ISPF, and SDSF.
• Knowledge of CICS performance tuning and problem determination.
• Experience working with VTAM, TCP/IP, and related connectivity components.
• Familiarity with DB2, IMS, or MQ is an advantage.
