Job Title: Java Production Support ProdOps Engineer / ProdOps Engineer (Java Production Support)

Job Type: FTE/Contract

Job Location: Las Vegas, NV (Onsite – Mon to Fri)

Description:

This is a Java Production Support / ProdOps role supporting live enterprise applications — not a pure infrastructure position, since the infrastructure is already built out. The focus is on hands-on Java application troubleshooting, production monitoring, GitLab pipeline support, root cause analysis, and end-to-end issue resolution.

What we're looking for:

• A background that started in Java development and moved into ProdOps, application support, SRE, or DevOps-oriented production support.
• Ability to troubleshoot application issues directly — going into the code and logs to find the problem, rather than monitoring infrastructure or routing tickets to other teams.
• Hands-on GitLab pipeline experience, including supporting deployments and making pipeline changes as needed.
• Demonstrated experience handling production incidents, performing root cause analysis, and resolving issues end to end.

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Computers or Equivalent
