Front Office Trading Support Engineer (Linux / Python)
Join our trading technology team - supporting critical front office systems used by traders and quants.
Key responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve real-time production issues in a Linux environment
- Investigate system behaviour (logs, memory, processes, file growth, ports)
- Build automation scripts using Bash/Python
- Analyse data issues using SQL
Requirements:
- Strong Linux fundamentals and command-line proficiency
- Practical scripting experience (Python and/or Bash)
- Confident SQL skills
- Experience with exchange connectivity / trading platforms (ION, TT, FIS advantageous)
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset with clear communication
This is not a functional support role—you’ll be expected to own issues end-to-end at a technical level.
