Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Package Specialist: SAP HR Comp & Payroll, you will support the implementation of SAP HR Compensation Management, Payroll and Benefits module, utilizing business knowledge and expertise to integrate packaged technology into the client's business environment. You will leverage your specialty in implementation planning, fit analysis, configuration, testing, rollout, and post-implementation support to achieve client expected business results.
Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include
- Implement SAP HR Modules: Support the implementation of SAP HR Compensation Management, Payroll and Benefits module, ensuring seamless integration with the client's business environment.
- Conduct Fit Analysis: Perform fit analysis to identify client requirements and configure the SAP HR system to meet their needs.
- Resolve Configuration Issues: Resolve configuration and functional issues specializing in the compensation management module of SAP HR.
- Provide Post-Implementation Support: Deliver post-implementation support to ensure the client achieves expected business results from the SAP HR system.
- Test and Rollout Solutions: Test and rollout solutions to ensure successful implementation of the SAP HR system.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
PayRoll
- Strong SAP Payroll technical expertise (Schemas, PCRs, wage types, processing classes, Payroll functions/Operations design)
- Country-specific payroll regulatory knowledge
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Experience with EC Payroll, H4S4 and integrations
- Multi-country experience across assigned clusters
- Must be proficient in problem-solving and gap analysis skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Own payroll tickets (Incidents and Request) end-to-end (RCA, fix, UT, SIT, retrofit and regression testing, closure within SLA)
- Support country-specific statutory updates (tax, social security, garnishments, year-end)
- Configure and support end to end payroll processes (off-cycle, retro, special payments, FI posting, bank files, payslips, reporting, reconciliation, year end process
- Acts as first and final escalation point for operations
- Support payroll cycle execution: pre-payroll audits, control run, live run, post-payroll validation, FI posting, bank file generation, and payslip distribution.
- Investigate failed/queued SLG1 logs, BADI/mapping errors
- Reconcile EC vs. S/4HANA data discrepancies impacting payroll accuracy
- Makes decisions on fixes, prioritization, and deployment impacts independently
- Proactively eliminates recurring issues without direction
- Exposure to SAP Benefits Module: Experience working with SAP Benefits module is beneficial, allowing for a deeper understanding of the overall SAP HR system and its applications in compensation management and payroll.
- Familiarity with SAP Payroll Configuration: Exposure to configuring SAP Payroll module can aid in resolving functional issues and providing comprehensive post-implementation support to clients.
- Knowledge of SAP Testing Tools: Familiarity with SAP testing tools can facilitate efficient testing and rollout of SAP HR system solutions, ensuring successful implementation and meeting client business requirements.
