Software Engineer – AWS / SRE / DevOps

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Engineer with strong experience in Java or Python, along with AWS and SRE/DevOps experience. The candidate will work on modernizing existing Python applications, rewriting them into Java or Pega, and migrating applications to AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Enhance and modernize existing Python applications.
• Rewrite Python applications into Java or Pega.
• Develop new features and enhancements.
• Set up environments and support application deployments.
• Support AWS migration, production operations, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams.
• Take ownership, work independently, and proactively resolve issues.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on Java OR Python experience.
• AWS experience.
• Spring Boot experience preferred.
• Experience with legacy Python applications and modernization.
• SRE / DevOps / production engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with deployments and environment setup.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Nice to Have: Pega experience.
