Requirement of IT Project Manager

• Strong enterprise infrastructure project management background
• Must be comfortable operating in large, complex Fortune 500 environments

Ideal Experience

• Enterprise Infrastructure Project Management (not software/application development)
• Mainframe experience strongly preferred
• IBM i (AS/400) experience is a plus
• Data center buildouts or infrastructure modernization experience is highly desirable
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar infrastructure initiatives
• Comfortable working across multiple lines of business and global teams
• JIRA is heavily used
• It is not a traditional Agile/Scrum environment
• JIRA functions primarily as a task management and work tracking tool
• Candidates should understand how to create stories, manage tasks, and track infrastructure work
• Quality and complexity of project experience over total years of experience
• Soft skills and executive presence
• Ability to influence stakeholders
• Enterprise-scale infrastructure delivery
• Strong ownership mentality
• Certifications (PMP, Scrum, etc.) are not a priority.
