Requirements:
- Must have the ability to provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems, including ongoing operational support.
- Must possess the ability to manage daily configuration and operation activities for IT systems while optimizing system operations, resource utilization, and performing system capacity analysis and planning.
- Must be capable of configuring and managing Linux operating systems, including loading and installing operating system software, maintaining system integrity, and implementing stability improvements.
- Must have the ability to create and maintain bash shell scripts to support system stability, automation, and deployment repeatability.
- Must possess the ability to provide Tier I (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution for IT system issues.
- Must be capable of troubleshooting hardware problems and remaining engaged throughout the full resolution process to ensure issues are properly resolved.
- Must have the ability to load operating system software, troubleshoot systems, configure network components, and provide detailed analysis and feedback to management and internal customers for escalated trouble tickets.
- Must have four (4) years of experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, OR eight (8) years of system administration experience in lieu of a degree.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
