Oracle Database Consultant

Oracle Database Consultant, 80–100%

For an established technology consultancy in Western Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Consultant. You will work on varied customer projects and take responsibility for the availability, performance and continuous improvement of complex Oracle environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install, administer, maintain and patch Oracle databases across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Plan and execute database migrations, backup and recovery, replication and high-availability solutions.
• Monitor performance, resolve incidents and advise customers on suitable technical solutions.
• Automate recurring activities using tools such as Ansible, Shell, SQL and PL/SQL.

Your profile

• At least three years of hands-on experience with Oracle database administration.
• Strong knowledge of RMAN, performance tuning and technologies such as Data Guard or RAC.
• Fluent French or German at C1 level, with working proficiency in English.
• Independent, customer-oriented and comfortable working collaboratively across different projects.
