ProFound Staffing is partnering with a Machining and Fabrication Manufacturing Company located in the La Marque - Texas City, Texas area seeking an IT Manager with experience in analyzing, designing, developing, testing, evaluating, and maintaining the company’s computer network and information systems. The IT Manager will serve as the single point of contact for all IT and software solutions.

About:

The IT Manager will monitor the system's daily health, provide support to system users, and guide the company by recommending to management a path toward continuous improvement in the technology resources that help drive profitability.

• This is an onsite position.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science

Certifications (Preferred but not required):

• CompTIA A+, Network+ or Security+
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Ideal Candidate & Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in an IT environment focused in systems and network engineering and administration.
• Provide Level 1-2-3 help-desk support, diagnosing and resolving technology issues (desktops, printers, etc.) across office and manufacturing facilities, with prompt response as needed.
• MS Office 365 administration, configuration, support and maintenance of the IT infrastructure ensuring high availability, security, and reliable operation of the systems to include installing software updates, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to users.
• Active Directory managing user accounts, access control, permissions, monitoring, maintenance, security and GPO.
• MS Teams Phone responsible for administering and sustaining MS Teams Phone capabilities to include managing user lifecycles, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing voice services within the organization. Also, monitor voice quality and system performance, ensuring reliable communication capabilities.
• Cloud Services managing cloud workloads, ensuring system security, performing regular software updates, and troubleshooting issues. Oversee the integration of cloud services with existing IT infrastructure and maintain data backups and recovery processes.
• 5 years’ experience with an ERP system – Epicor highly preferred
• ERP administration, configuration, support and maintenance to include creating, modifying and customizing reports, running queries, writing scripts using Visual Studio C#, T-SQL, SSRS, including:
• Business Activity Query (BAQ)
• Cash to Quote
• Scanning email communications, customer specifications and documentation.
• Linking and attaching related documents to related modules (e.g. purchasing, orders, jobs, etc.)
• Monitor, design and implement secure network architecture to include implementing intrusion detection systems, firewalls and conduct regular vulnerability assessments of the network systems. Establish security policies, automate security processes and ensure continuous monitoring to protect against fraud, security attacks and ransomware.
• Administer and configure Mimecast
• Firewalls
• General knowledge of job shop business cycle
• Ability to gather requirements, evaluate business needs, and create custom solutions
• Strive to streamline processes and automate where feasible
• Natural interest in technology and desire to stay abreast of new tech

Position Responsibilities:

• Monitor system performance and provide security measures, troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.
• Assist users to diagnose and solve technology-related problems.
• Develop custom solutions to minimize user workload and errors.
• Identify areas of operation that need updated equipment.
• Test and evaluate hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing system, and make purchase recommendations.
• Evaluate, update, and maintain phone systems (incl. wireless) and messaging.
• Educate users to make better use of existing company resources.
