Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Design and conduct training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance.
- Develop course curriculum, develop training modules and instructional materials for technical training programs.
- Coordinates class arrangements, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating training effectiveness.
- Assesses need to determine training material content.
- Keeps abreast of information technology training needs, trends, methods, new materials and techniques.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years relevant experience or a High School Diploma and 10 years
- Training personnel shall have successfully completed a legacy or current TRADOC approved Army Instructor training course (Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), Army Training Requirements and Resource System (ATRRS), Common Faculty Development Instructor Course, or TRADOC equivalent. Alternatively, training personnel can be certified through a public or private civilian certification program, or by a documented contractor certification program. The contractor shall submit contractor and civilian certification programs for pre-approval by the Government with supporting rationale.
- Primary Vehicle Platform: Knowledgeable with experience providing podium instructions for the M1150 Assault Breacher Vehicle (ABV) and M1074 Joint.
- Instructors certified for Wrecker training shall hold a current CLASS A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Wrecker Instructors must also have either three years of Wrecker Experience OR shall have obtained ONE of the following certifications below:
- Skill Identifier of Hotel 8 (H8) from the Army.
- Military Occupational Specialty 3536 (MOS 3536)
- Ability to successfully pass Pre-Employment Drug Screening; must possess a Valid Driver’s License for the location in which the work will be performed, a High School Diploma or GED.
- Up to 25% Travel Required.
- Willingness to travel to various US or OCONUS locations.
- Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting this position.
- Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
- Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
- Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard for long periods of time.
