Senior Full Charge Bookkeeper/Controller

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or Senior Financial Controller within a CPA firm OR
• Experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or Senior Financial Controller at a $10M+ revenue construction company
• 7+ years of progressive full-charge accounting experience
• 7+ years of QuickBooks Online and Desktop experience (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
• Experience in construction, hospitality, or healthcare
• High level of discretion, ethics, and professionalism
• Currently live a reasonable commuting distance from Downtown, Naples. This is a 100% on-site position

Primary Responsibilities

• Full-charge bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online and Desktop
• Manage A/P, A/R, general ledger, and bank/credit card reconciliations
• Payroll coordination and payroll tax filings (quarterly and annual)
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• WIP tracking and job cost accounting (construction experience preferred)
• Monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statement preparation
• Balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis
• Support tax preparation and responding to CPA requests
• Maintain audit-ready financial records
• Monitor internal controls and identifying discrepancies
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist with training and documentation standards
