Technology and solution landscape

  1. Strong understanding of custom application delivery using Java or the .NET ecosystem.

Minimum requirements
  1. 10+ years across program/project management, business analysis, technology delivery or capability leadership.
  2. Evidence of combining full program ownership with genuine, hands-on business analysis.
  3. Experience leading distributed teams across business, engineering, vendors and executives.
  4. Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, shape scope, build a case for change and move demand into delivery.
  5. Strong governance, planning, financial tracking, RAID, change control, facilitation and executive communication.
  6. Fluent Portuguese and professional English; legal authorisation to work in Brazil.

Projects

Role purposeBuild and lead the Brazil capability as an extended arm of the India Global Capability Centre (GCC). This role combines program management, business analysis and location leadership. The incumbent will become the primary point of contact in Brazil, translate local demand into executable initiatives, govern delivery, identify opportunities and progressively expand the scope and capability of the team.

Mandate and expected outcomes

  1. Define a practical Brazil location strategy aligned with the India GCC and global leadership.
  2. Become the trusted SPOC for technology demand, delivery, vendors, escalations and leadership communication in Brazil.
  3. Create an opportunity pipeline and convert qualified opportunities into approved initiatives or services.
  4. Expand the local portfolio and team capability through structured transitions, new scope and sustainable ownership.
  5. Deliver programs with control over outcomes, scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, quality and adoption.
  6. Perform hands-on BA work where needed and establish a repeatable operating rhythm across Brazil and India.
Key responsibilities
  1. Own the Brazil location roadmap, demand themes, target services, capability gaps, sourcing options and transition waves.
  2. Build relationships with Brazilian functions and continuously identify pain points, unmet demand, process inefficiencies and digital opportunities.
  3. Assess opportunities for value, strategic fit, technical feasibility, risk and capability readiness; prepare business cases and recommendations.
  4. Lead intake, prioritisation, governance, status communication and escalation with the India GCC and global leadership.
  5. Translate business needs into charters, process maps, epics, user stories, functional requirements, acceptance criteria and delivery plans.
  6. Create integrated plans covering resources, budgets, RAID items, dependencies, vendors, change control and executive decisions.
  7. Coordinate custom application, integration, data, infrastructure, security, testing and change teams.
  8. Shape the local team and hiring roadmap, recommending what to build in Brazil, provide from India or source through partners.
  9. Lead knowledge transfer, transition and stabilisation so new scope is absorbed sustainably.
  10. Track opportunity pipeline, approved scope, delivery performance, capacity, capability growth, stakeholder outcomes and benefits.

Preferred experience

  1. Experience building or expanding a GCC, captive centre, nearshore hub, regional delivery location or portfolio.
  2. Manufacturing, agriculture, automotive, industrial or another asset-intensive domain.
  3. Experience with Java, .NET, React or Angular portfolios, modernisation or digital product delivery in custom applications.
  4. Cloud, DevSecOps, API, integration, data and cybersecurity governance exposure.
  5. PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, PMI-PBA, CBAP or Agile certification.
