Compensation: $100-120/hr W2
Location: Hybrid, 3 days/week onsite in Downtown Dallas, TX
Our client is expanding its engineering team to build and operate Kubernetes infrastructure supporting large-scale compute and AI workloads. We’re looking for a hands-on engineer with deep experience building Kubernetes platforms and services that other engineering teams rely on. You’ll help develop the Kubernetes layer across our infrastructure and work with advanced GPU and accelerator technologies as the platform grows. Prior NVIDIA GPU experience is helpful, but it is not required. Strong Kubernetes platform expertise and the ability to learn are central to this opportunity.
What you’ll do:
- Build, develop, and maintain Kubernetes platforms and services for internal engineering teams.
- Write code and automation to support platform capabilities and operations; approximately 60% of the role involves hands-on coding.
- Help operate and improve Kubernetes infrastructure running over bare-metal servers and Linux systems.
- Troubleshoot issues across Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and the underlying infrastructure.
- Work with GPU operators and accelerator infrastructure supporting compute-intensive workloads.
- Partner with engineering teams to understand their needs and improve the services they use.
- Deep, hands-on Kubernetes expertise, including experience building or owning platform services used by other engineers.
- Strong software development skills and recent experience writing and maintaining code.
- Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure and distributed systems.
- A solid foundation in Linux systems and networking.
- The ability to take ownership, collaborate across teams, and learn unfamiliar technologies.
Helpful additional experience/;
- Kubernetes running on bare-metal infrastructure.
- NVIDIA GPUs, GPU operators, or other accelerator hardware.
- Building managed Kubernetes services or comparable internal platforms.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification or similar evidence of Kubernetes depth.
- Help shape a growing Kubernetes platform supporting significant data-center expansion.
- Work with advanced GPU infrastructure and demanding compute workloads.
- Apply your Kubernetes expertise while expanding your experience with accelerator hardware and bare-metal systems.
- Relocation assistance is available for eligible hires moving to Dallas.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
