About Granola Hey! We’re team Granola 👋 We’re building the leading AI-powered notepad for people in back-to-back meetings, a product that’s spreading through teams and redefining how knowledge is captured and used. We help teams turn messy conversations into structured insight, so they can spend more time focusing on what’s important and less time on admin. The Opportunity We're hiring a Growth Engineer to sit across product, data, and marketing problems - identifying opportunities, running experiments, and building product-led growth loops that feel native to the Granola experience. Our growth has been almost entirely organic. Now we want to understand it, accelerate it, and build the systems to make it compound. What You'll Do Own the full growth experimentation cycle - from spotting opportunities in the funnel to shipping, measuring, and deciding what to kill or double down on Build and iterate on activation, onboarding, sharing, and retention flows that turn first-time users into daily habits Partner with product, marketing, and data to surface growth levers and ship improvements that compound over time Develop the experimentation infrastructure (A/B testing, attribution tracking, analytics tooling), so teams can move fast and learn faster Translate user behaviour and funnel data into practical product or engineering changes that improve outcomes Define success metrics before you build, evaluate impact honestly, and balance speed with strong product judgment Help shape how growth operates at Granola - the metrics that matter, the playbooks, and the bar for what good looks like   What We’re Looking For Your background looks something like… 5+ years of experience in growth, product, or full stack engineering, ideally with end-to-end ownership of experimentation, optimisation or conversion work Strong product sense and user experience, you can see problems from multiple sides and build for all of them. Good understanding of metrics, success measurement and iteration Experience in a high-velocity startup or an environment where you've had to move fast, define your own priorities, and ship without a detailed spec Comfort working across the growth stack - TypeScript, React, Node.js, product analytics tools and A/B testing infrastructure As a person, you… Are first and foremost a builder Are excited to work in-person from our office in London (most of the time) Love working in a startup environment (you either have experience working in a startup or are really drawn to the zero-to-one phase) Value working with people who are kind, ambitious, and pragmatic Are curious about AI, product systems, and how growth loops actually work - you enjoy digging into the mechanics of why things succeed or fail Communicate clearly, collaborate well across product, marketing, and engineering, and are comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-moving environment Thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements and priorities About the Opportunity We are living in the most exciting time for tool builders since Engelbart's demo in 1968 and we want to assemble the best crew to build this future together. Our compensation philosophy is to hire the best people in the market and pay them accordingly with salary, variable, and equity. Lastly, we think amazing talent comes from all kinds of life journeys and experiences. If what is written above speaks to you, whether you look like a fit on paper or not, please reach out.
