IT Infrastructure PM/ End User Support Engineer

18 month contract

Hybrid - 3 days onsite - Pennington NJ or Jersey City NJ; Must be local

$60-63/hour W2; Not available 1099 or C2C

• Manage projects related to infrastructure provisioning, security projects, data center migrations, and End of Life Programs
• Lead meetings and communicate technical details related to projects
• Work in a fast paced environment whilst meeting deadlines.
• Build trusted relationships with the business and technology teams
• Analyze and communicate capacity management related tasks
• Communicate standards and best practices to Lines of Businesses
• Work with System Administrator teams to help ensure servers standards are being met
• Coordinate in Linux virtual and physical builds, upgrades, patching, and support.
• Background in clustering, disaster recovery, high availability

• 5+ years of work experience, including 3 years in Technical Project Management roles.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• self-motivated and strong work ethic
• System Administrator background preferred
• Strong Linux background strongly preferred
• Strong background in networks, storage, hardware, data center
• Experience in supporting large enterprises
• Scrum background preferred
• Strong project and process leader
• Presentation, reporting, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Knowledge of infrastructure technologies (physical server hosting, virtual machine hosting, storage, network, database, middleware, network traffic management, Network DMZ)
• Jira software experience
• Background in cloud, virtualization, bare metal environments
• Understand technical concepts like DNS, Active Directory, NAS, Firewall, Proxy, SMTP
