Description

• Design, implement and manage cloud infrastructure to support business objectives.
• Monitor system performance, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate cloud solutions across the organisation.
• Implement best practices for cloud security and data protection.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud platform issues efficiently.
• Automate processes to improve system performance and reduce manual tasks.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members when needed.

Profile

A successful Senior Cloud Platform Engineer should have:

• Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments and release governance using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including data ingestion, orchestration, transformation, validation and data quality.
• Strong expertise in cloud platform technologies and tools such as Azure, version control and Terraform
• Proven ability to design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in implementing cloud security measures and protocols.
• Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages.
• Problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering efficient solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• A proactive approach to learning and adopting new technologies.

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from £60000 to £70000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Hybrid role in the Manchester office
• Permanent position within the FMCG industry.
