Incident Management:
- Provide advanced technical support for complex network issues escalated from Level 2 teams.
- Troubleshoot & resolve intricate network problems related to managed network products/services.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) role for suite of network technologies either/or in routing/switching, ISEs, firewalls, proxies, LB, ULL, Wireless & etc.
- When engaged, lead/handle P1/P2/P3C network incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
- Lead root cause investigations for critical/managed incidents & implement preventive measures to mitigate future occurrences.
- Provide prompt detailed incident summaries with recommendations for resolutions & next actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as SMEs, Engineering & vendors, to resolve complex network issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for network-related emergencies.
- Evaluate network change requests submitted by change initiators to understand & assess the scope, impact, potential risks & disruptions to services dependencies.
- Plan DR implementation and yearly activities such as Akamai route off/on for all regional sites as per schedule.
- Investigate & analyze network related problems reported through the problem management process to identify the root causes and implement preventive actions.
- Participate in problem management calls to communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide status updates on problem resolution.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to diagnose & address network related issues that may have broader and implications across the various IT functions.
- Document the details of problem investigations, findings, actions taken & resolution steps accurately.
- Ensure solutions are well architected and can be integrated successfully into the end-to-end business process flow.
- Review engineering plans and quality to drive re-use and improve engineering capability.
- Participate in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies, tools and solutions in the bank.
- Develop and maintain network documentations, including OGLs, KOPs, NetWiki, Confluence & etc.
- Review incident reports and ensure that the information is accurate & comprehensive.
- Stay up to date with emerging network technologies, industry best practices, and advancements in network tools. Continuously enhance technical skills through self-learning, training, and certifications.
- Mentor & Train Tier 1 and 2 support engineers on advanced networking concepts, troubleshooting techniques and best practices.
- Minimum 8 years of network operational experience in financial institutions or in relevant roles.
- In-depth hands-on experience in several enterprise networking principles such as routing/switching protocols & technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, GTM, LTM VPN, MP-BGP, OSPF, Cisco ACI, Arista, Web proxy, FortiGate, Checkpoint HSRP, Multicast, Spanning tree, VRF, Wireless, L2/L3 E-VPN, F5 and DWDM).
- Experience with network tools and technologies (e.g., SNOW, SNMP, NetFlow, packet capture analysis).
- CCIE or other expert level technical certifications.
- ITIL®v4 Foundation certification.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.

- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
- This role is a Monday to Friday (9am to 6pm) role with some on call standby duties on weekends (One weekend per month).
