Role Responsibilities
- Independently resolve incidents involving cellular, LAN, or Linux-based systems on deployed units
- Diagnose system issues using log analysis, diagnostic tools, and documented processes
- Make configuration changes to improve system and network performance
- Document troubleshooting steps, diagnosis, and resolution in detail
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers via tickets, chat, or phone to coordinate resolution
- Provide input to improve standard operating procedures and team documentation
- Collaborate with peers and escalate when appropriate
- Complete one-off projects with a technical scope of work as assigned by your manager
- Technical certification or professional experience in Network and Linux systems administration
- Strong written documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize across multiple active incidents
- Strong analytical and technical diagnostic skills
- Respond to and resolve high-priority escalations in a timely manner
- Progress, update, or reassign assigned incidents in ServiceNow
- Review newly assigned group incidents and triage accordingly
- Complete project work as assigned
