We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database administration, performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, upgrades, migrations, security, and operational support across enterprise environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB databases.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and monitor database servers and processes.
  • Monitor database health, performance, availability, and security.
  • Ensure high levels of performance, sustainability, and reliability.
  • Recommend and implement database optimization solutions.
  • Automate routine database administration tasks and document changes.
  • Support application teams and developers with query tuning and schema optimization.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance activities and support after-hours release deployments.
  • Execute database patching activities for MSSQL Server and Oracle databases.
  • Manage and maintain:
  • Active-Passive Clusters
  • SQL Server Always On Availability Groups
  • Database Replication
  • Perform Disaster Recovery (DC/DR) testing and production switchovers.
  • Handle database migrations and version upgrades for MSSQL and Oracle environments.
  • Manage backup and recovery operations, including:
  • SQL Native Backup & Restore
  • Oracle RMAN Backup & Restore
  • Data Pump (Datadump)
  • Physical Standby Databases
  • Conduct database audits and compliance activities.
  • Create and maintain database documentation, standards, procedures, and definitions.
  • Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide technical support.
  • Implement and manage database access controls and security policies.


Required Skills

  • Strong experience in MSSQL Server 2019/2022 and Oracle 19c.
  • Experience in database patching, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Knowledge of RMAN, Data Pump, backup and recovery processes.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux environments.
  • Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery concepts.
  • Good troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
