As a Business Financial Manager on the Controllership and Treasury Transformation team, you will be responsible for...
- Serving as a Business Financial Manager (BFM) for a federal finance organization and advising federal stakeholders on financial matters affecting assigned initiatives
- Supporting all phases of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) cycle, including budget exhibit development, unfunded requirement requests, budget formulation, and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) activities
- Driving financial execution by tracking obligation benchmarks, establishing and monitoring phasing plans, and processing budget requirements through the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
- Analyzing financial data using Microsoft Excel and ADVANA to review fund status, identify trends, and support funds control and monitoring
- Using Program Budget Information System (PBIS) reporting and developing executive-level briefings and actionable reporting to support financial decision-making
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills

Our Controllership and Treasury Transformation offering modernizes the finance function to support the evolving business objectives of the organization. We work with the CFO, CAO, controller, and treasurer to develop an efficient, high quality, data-driven, tech-enabled controllership and treasury function that empowers our clients to drive more value to their business partners and to their investors.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Active Secret security clearance
- 3+ years of experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, including SAP, supporting financial management activities
- 1+ years of experience in a federal environment and supporting Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) activities
- 2+ years of experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, Program Budget Information System (PBIS), or ADVANA to support budget execution, funds control, financial analysis, or executive-level reporting
- Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Master's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or public administration
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Experience supporting federal financial management organizations
- Experience developing budget exhibits, unfunded requirement requests, or Program Objective Memorandum (POM) materials
