Operator, Threading

Role Summary:

The Operator, Threading is responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the CNC threading machine, making size changes as needed, maintaining a safe work environment, and producing quality products that meet all customer requirements while supporting continuous process improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Respond appropriately and where required provide information, reports and communicate effectively.

• Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions and calling for repairs as required.

• Perform maintenance type tasks (Trade Assist) during planned and unplanned outages as required.

• Ensure proper product identification and traceability throughout the process .
• Perform Testing of Couplings as per POC requirement.
• Completion of all required paperwork and / or electronic data collection.
• Support SIC on any other task that may be assigned

Qualification and Education:

• High School Technical Diploma

Experience:

• 2 years of experience as a CNC Machine Operator

Skills:

Good communication and interpersonal skills, Basic computer, standard corporate software application skills are required, Good troubleshooting, analytical and decision making skills, Machine, tool, jaw and handling system setting
