Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer at BairesDev

As a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer, you will drive the development of robust, scalable backend systems to power high-performance web applications. You will serve as a key technical contributor, translating complex product requirements into clean, well-tested code while ensuring optimal system architecture and database efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Design and build scalable backend web applications using modern practices.
• Develop and optimize secure, reliable RESTful APIs to power seamless client-server communication.
• Create and maintain efficient database schemas and write optimized queries to manage complex data structures.
• Implement comprehensive test suites and performance tuning strategies to maintain code quality and system speed.
• Coordinate version control, deployment workflows, and cloud infrastructure setups to ensure smooth release cycles.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Ruby development.
• Proven expertise in building backend web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Strong hands-on experience with RESTful API development.
• Proficiency in SQL, Active Record, testing, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Git and cloud deployment.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
