ZING Metric is looking for a superstar SEO Client Strategy & Growth Manager to join our team and help lead the next phase of our growth.

We are a boutique, family-run digital marketing agency based in Missoula, Montana, specializing exclusively in SEO and AI Visibility for automotive dealerships across the country.

We believe in doing one thing exceptionally well. Our dealership partners trust us to increase their visibility across Google and emerging AI search platforms through smart strategy, exceptional execution, transparent reporting, and measurable results.

This isn't a traditional account management position where your job is simply to keep clients happy. You'll become an integral part of our agency, helping shape client strategy, identify growth opportunities, strengthen relationships, and directly influence the success of both our clients and ZING Metric.

You'll work closely with and report directly to ZING Metric's President and COO, giving you the opportunity to learn the business from the inside and have a meaningful voice in how we evolve.

What You'll Do

As our Client Strategy & Growth Manager you'll serve as a strategic partner to a growing portfolio of automotive dealership clients. You'll turn data into insights, insights into strategy, and great communication into long-term client relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Serve as a primary strategic point of contact for dealership clients nationwide
• Lead monthly client meetings and confidently communicate SEO performance, wins, opportunities, and next steps
• Analyze performance using Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and leading SEO platforms
• Translate complex SEO data into clear, actionable recommendations that clients can easily understand
• Execute and oversee local SEO strategies designed to increase dealership visibility throughout their surrounding markets
• Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles and other local search initiatives
• Monitor organic visibility across traditional Google Search, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and emerging AI search platforms
• Identify new opportunities to improve rankings, traffic, leads, authority, and overall organic performance
• Assist with online reputation management and dealership review responses
• Collaborate with our internal team on SEO, content, AI visibility, and client growth strategies
• Provide strategic insights and performance reporting to ZING Metric leadership
• Proactively identify opportunities to expand and strengthen existing client relationships
• Help generate new business through thoughtful outbound prospecting, including calls and email outreach
• Become a trusted advisor to our clients and someone they genuinely look forward to hearing from
  

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who combines SEO knowledge with exceptional communication skills.

You should be comfortable analyzing data one minute and leading a client conversation the next. You're naturally curious, organized, proactive, confident, and motivated by results.

You don't wait to be told what needs to happen, you identify opportunities and take ownership of them.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience with a strong focus on SEO
• Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console
• Ability to analyze organic search performance and turn data into clear strategies and client-facing insights
• Strong understanding of on-page SEO, local SEO, content strategy, and organic search optimization
• Familiarity with Google Business Profile optimization and local search
• Experience managing multiple client relationships, projects, or accounts
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
• Excellent writing skills with strong attention to grammar, tone, and detail
• Comfortable leading client meetings and discussing performance with executives and business owners
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
• Experience with SEO platforms such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools
• Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and operate independently in a fast-moving environment
• A genuine desire to learn, improve, and take on greater responsibility as the company grows

We'd Be Especially Excited If You Have

• Automotive marketing or dealership industry experience
• Experience working directly with dealership owners, GMs, or marketing teams
• Knowledge of Google Business Profile and reputation management
• Familiarity with AI search visibility, Google AI Overviews, LLMs, entity optimization, or generative search
• Previous agency experience
• Sales, cold-calling, prospecting, or business development experience
• An entrepreneurial mindset and excitement about helping build a growing company
