Role Overview

This is a hands-on Site Reliability Engineering role supporting a highly automated, mission-critical production environment. You will work closely with technology, trading, and research teams to improve the reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency of complex Linux-based systems while helping ensure the stability of key business platforms

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Python and Bash tooling to monitor system health, performance, and dependencies.
  • Support and troubleshoot a distributed Linux production environment.
  • Assist with system deployment, configuration management, testing, and infrastructure rollout activities.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and data teams to deliver reliable production services.
  • Act as a key technical contact for production support and operational issues.
  • Provide support to business and technical stakeholders operating in a fast-paced environment.
  • Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance platform resilience, monitoring, and overall system reliability.

Key Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience administering and supporting Linux/Unix environments.
  • Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
  • Experience supporting production, infrastructure, or other business-critical systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex system-level issues under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working closely with technical and non-technical users.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Experience within financial markets, trading, fintech, or other low-latency environments.

  • Understanding of market structure and financial instruments.
  • Exposure to distributed systems and large-scale infrastructure environments.
  • Experience improving monitoring, observability, and operational processes.
