Linux System Engineer

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Linux Engineer to join a high-performing technology team supporting enterprise infrastructure and cloud environments.

This is a hands-on role focused on Linux administration, automation, cloud operations, and platform reliability. You will play a key role in supporting Linux workloads across hybrid cloud and Kubernetes environments while driving automation, performance optimisation, and infrastructure security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Automate operational and administrative tasks using Bash, Python, and Ansible.
• Manage and support enterprise Linux environments including RHEL and Ubuntu.
• Support Linux workloads across hybrid cloud and Kubernetes platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex operating system, network, storage, and application issues.
• Implement system automation and infrastructure improvements.
• Perform patch management, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening activities.
• Monitor platform health, performance, and availability.
• Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to support business-critical systems.
• Contribute to infrastructure standardisation and operational best practices.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and support procedures.

• Experience in Linux Systems Engineering or Advanced Linux Administration.
• Strong experience administering RHEL and Ubuntu environments.
• Strong scripting skills using Bash and/or Python.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience supporting Linux workloads in cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and Linux file systems.
• Experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and operational support.
• Experience implementing security controls, hardening, and patch management processes.
• RHCE, LFCE, or similar Linux certifications are highly regarded.
• Vietnamese language skills will be considered favourably.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
