As our team will soon be sending colleagues on parental leave, we are looking for an experienced Monitoring Specialist to join our Monitoring team in Copenhagen on a 1-year contract.

In this role you will get the chance to monitor all incoming alerts using our advanced monitoring application, Dynatrace. You will perform 1st level support and efficiently escalate and manage incidents, as well as ensuring 24/7 proactive monitoring to maintain optimal performance and reliability and manage escalation and follow-up of alerts and incidents until resolution. In the event of a major incident, you will take control of the process and lead efforts to restore operations swiftly and effectively.

As this role is part of a 24/7 follow-the-sun Monitoring setup, flexibility around working hours and shift coverage is required. The team operates on a 7-week rotation, ensuring continuous coverage across the week. The role therefore requires a willingness to participate in the agreed shift rotation and to work outside standard office hours when scheduled.

• Assessing the impact of incidents on both the business and customers, ensuring minimal disruption and clear communication.
• You will participate in continuous investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues in a demanding 24x7x365 environment.
• Performing daily system health checks to proactively identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
• Executing manual changes as needed to maintain system integrity and performance.
• Prepare and maintain documentation and reports to ensure transparency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Things we’ll look for on your resume

To excel in this role, you have at least 1 year of experience in a similar position or within an IT Operations environment. We expect you to have basic IT skills and knowledge about monitoring is desired. ITIL certification, Azure and Kubernetes experience is a plus.

You are an exceptional team player who thrives in collaborative environments, working seamlessly with colleagues and stakeholders. You have strong customer focus that allows you to adapt and perform effectively under tight deadlines, and you possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You can identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, and you are curious and have strong desire to expand your knowledge and skills.
