Job Duties:The LVN III position will report to the Nurse IV Office of Professional Standards. Duties include providing program specific and technical assistance to agency staff; assist ins in conducting on-site clinical reviews, data gathering, quality improvement audits and investigations of health care complaints. Research technical and policy issues regarding inmate healthcare.You'd be a GOOD fit if:You have graduated from a Licensed Vocational Nurse program and have three years of fulltime, wageearning experience as a vocational nurse. Your clinical background, reliability, and handson experience demonstrate the professionalism and competency needed to excel in this position.You'd be a GREAT fit if:You have correctional nursing experience in addition to the standard requirements for vocational nursing. You bring strong computer operations skills, and you hold a valid, current, and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, as approved by the Texas Board of Nursing.
