Responsibilities


  • Installing & Upgrading OS (RedHat, Centos) including Major release upgrade.
  • Performing LVM activities (LV Migration, Mirroring and Moving PV's, Creating, Extending, Reducing and removing the File Systems).
  • Executing Veritas Cluster tasks (Resource group failover, suspend, stop and start).
  • Implementing ASM Disk addition & removal requests.
  • Co-Ordinating & Performing Hardware replacement.
  • Managing & Resolving user authentication problems.
  • Installing & Deploying Project related components.
  • Build new servers & fixing the automation workflow issues.
  • Installing OS drivers & Performing firmware upgrade.
  • Identify the various OS related issue & Monitoring System Performance of Virtual memory, System events, Swapping, Disk utilization, CPU utilization also provide the solutions to that.
  • Setting up Swap file systems & Scheduling of automatic, repetitive Jobs using basic shell scripting.
  • Troubleshooting Linux Physical & Virtual Servers.
  • Satellite server Administration (Maintaining the subscription, Upgrade Satellite server, Content creation).
