The Role
We are seeking a proactive Trade Marketing Analyst to drive our strategic objectives by implementing and communicating core trade policies across daily operations. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of the marketing activities (space coordination and/or pricing management) on export vessels, ensuring all logistical and pricing strategies align seamlessly with our overarching commercial goals.
The key areas of responsibilities will be:
- Act as the Marketing (Space and/or Pricing) Focal Point for designated regions whilst demonstrating a sound awareness of the regional commodities, markets and operational infrastructure.
- Perform regular structural review of region performance against target levels & follow-up on any performance deviations.
- Respond to the marketing action requests in a timely fashion whilst analysing & judging business contribution in the context of current / prospected market conditions as well as Trade/ region performance.
- Produce regular KPI reports and follow up on performance variances.
- Represent the Marketing team at internal and external meetings as required.
- Maintain proficiency in ONE’s in-house operating systems, performing timely and accurate reviews and maintenance.
- Ensure the trade and regions in charge achieves 100% slot utilization, working closely with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate the implementation and performance management of country-wise customer allocation processes.
The Requirements
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Google AI (GEMINI).
- Previous liner shipping marketing (pricing and/or space control) experience is desirable, though not essential.
- Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize workloads effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
- Proactive mindset with a systematic approach to work.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
