Beyond direct customer support, you will contribute to process improvement and standardization across PanaCIM, iLNB, and DGS deployments, support Sales through trade shows, demonstrations, and technical consultations, and participate in ongoing product and safety training.

Responsibilities
Service Support
- Plan and execute software installations, migrations, and upgrades of PanaCIM, iLNB, DGS, and related Panasonic applications at customer sites and remotely
- Configure and troubleshoot Windows Server, Linux (Ubuntu), SQL, PostgreSQL, and Docker environments
- Perform root-cause analysis of software and network communication issues
- Maintain comprehensive customer documentation, including network diagrams, software versions, HostIDs, and license information
- Create internal and customer-facing guides for unique configurations and integrations
- Work with TAC and Development to validate patches, fixes, and software enhancements
- Provide technical consultation to customers on site preparation, backups, and system performance
- Participate in knowledge sharing and standardization of procedures for PanaCIM, iLNB, and DGS deployments
- Suggest process improvements for deployment efficiency and quality consistency
- Participate in exhibitions and demonstrations of equipment at trade shows, the PA demo room, and customer sites, informing customers and responding to technical and specification questions and concerns
- Identify sales opportunities and inform Sales as appropriate
- Participate in internal product and safety training
- Complete required documentation, travel reports, and expenses promptly
- Performs implementation tasks of moderate complexity independently with limited supervision
- May mentor associates or contractors on technical assignments
- No budget or direct reports
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering required; equivalent professional experience (typically 2 years of relevant experience for every 1 year of required education) and relevant technical certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 2–5 years of experience in software implementation, networking, and industrial IT
- Hands-on experience with Linux (Ubuntu), Docker, SQL, PostgreSQL, and enterprise networking
- CompTIA A+ required; Network+ or Linux+ preferred
- ASQ CSQE desirable
- SMT manufacturing and MES system experience preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and customer-focused
- Takes initiative to resolve issues and deliver consistent, high-quality results
- Maintains documentation accuracy and process adherence
- Interfaces professionally with customers and internal groups
- Delivers clear, concise technical documentation and feedback
- Capable of lifting over 50 lbs. (22.7 kg), standing for long periods on factory floors, and maneuvering in factory production environments and confined spaces to execute technical activities
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively (often 95% or greater), domestically and internationally, often with very short notice, with flexible work hours, including non-standard business hours, weekends, and occasional holidays, as may be necessary to meet customer project schedules and demands

- The salary range listed below is just one component of Panasonic's total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
