Linux Operating Systems Lead / Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Operating System Management:

• Manage and administer operating systems across the organization, including Windows, Linux, or other designated platforms.

• Ensure proper installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems.

2. System Optimization and Performance Monitoring:

• Monitor system performance metrics, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement to optimize operating system performance. • Implement tuning and optimization measures to enhance system efficiency.

3. Security and Patch Management:

• Implement robust security measures for operating systems, including access controls, security patches, and vulnerability assessments.

• Ensure compliance with security standards and policies.

4. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, system crashes, performance degradation, and software compatibility problems.

• Provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.

5. Documentation and Best Practices:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of operating system configurations, procedures, and best practices.

• Create and update documentation for system administrators and end-users.

6. Ensure correct adoption of policies and procedures to guarantee that QNB ALAHLI business is conducted in compliance with Local Laws, Internal rules and regulations, as well as, International Standards.

7. Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of Permanent Supervision system, compliance, operational risk & workplace success guidelines whenever & wherever possible
