The Front Desk Associate greets and directs visitors; routes telephone calls to appropriate personnel. Provides administrative support to the Human Resources department, as needed.
Additional Duties
- Responsible for receptionist duties, including answering/directing incoming calls and greeting visitors.
- Properly sorts paychecks on a weekly basis for distribution to all companies.
- Prepares all New Hire Orientation packets.
- Responsible for creating ID Badges for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Provides administrative support to various departments
- Mail receiving, distribution, and processing.
- AR/AP daily invoices for Accounting for SOX compliance.
- Assists in coordinating company events, e.g., Employee picnic, Christmas Party, and monthly company communications.
- Supports the HR Department with training administration.
- Maintains accurate monetary records for various accounts (e.g., postage, event tickets).
- Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department, as needed
- Performs various clerical duties (e.g., sorting, filing, data entry).
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent with additional specialized training.
- Experience: Minimum of one to three years in an administrative support role, preferably in an HR Department. Must be organized and able to function effectively in a multi-tasked environment. Able to consistently maintain an outgoing, professional, and pleasant phone personality. Must have good interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be service-oriented and able to maintain confidentiality. Basic computer skills and familiarity with office machines are required.
- Travel:As needed.
- Experience: Has the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures. 2 years of experience in an administrative function. Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines. Intermediate office and computer skills preferred.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations
This position requires access to “controlled technology” as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R.
- 730 et. seq.) and “technical data” as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 C.F.R, Chapter 1, Subchapter M). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
