SAP Basis Consultant | Deloitte Technology Delivery Center

Who we are looking for

• Graduate or Master's Degree in Computer or Electronics & Communication Engineering / Computer science / Information Technology systems/ Computer applications / IT Business Systems;
• SAP or SAP HANA certifications are highly desirable e.g. SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration;
• SAP curriculum for Basis consultants or equivalent;
• Technically fluent in Operating System (Unix/Windows/Linux), Database (HANA/Oracle/DB2/SQL Server/MaxDB) administration, hardware technologies;
• Working experience with SAP HANA would be a plus;
• Experience in Performance tuning, Troubleshooting, Technical reviews;
• Aware of HW configurations;
• Excellent interpersonal skills, fluent in English.

Consultant Role & Responsibilities:

• Perform the role of a technical consultant on projects (technical SAP installations, upgrades/ Implementations, database migrations, etc.);
• Maintain a high degree of knowledge / understanding of a variety of SAP Technologies and applications;
• Take directions from the manager in terms of areas of development and utilization and from Project Managers in work on projects mode;
• Formulate and track work plans and delivery milestones in keeping with client expectations. Continually report progress as required;
• Ready to travel for assignments within the EMEA region.
