Key Responsabilities:
• Administer, monitor, and support on-premises Linux systems (mainly RHEL, with occasional OEL).
• Perform system provisioning, patching, performance tuning, security hardening, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Automate system administration tasks using Ansible and related tools.
• Manage and maintain Red Hat Satellite, IDM, and other RHEL ecosystem components.
• Support virtualization environments, primarily VMware and KVM.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux-based network and security services, including: DNS; Reverse proxy (Apache HTTP, NGINX, HAProxy); Forward proxy (Squid); Load balancers (HAProxy, Keepalived).
• Manage Linux infrastructure metrics and alert setup in monitoring solutions such as Zabbix and ELK.
• Support containerized environments using Podman and Docker; experience with Kubernetes is a strong plus.
• Collaborate with network teams to ensure secure and efficient operations; strong network infrastructure knowledge is essential.
Qualifications & Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in Linux systems administration, with focus on RHEL environments.
• Proven experience with automation tools, especially Ansible.
• Solid knowledge of VMware and KVM hypervisors.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including firewalls, routing, and VLANs.
• Experience managing enterprise-level monitoring and logging tools.
• Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE) are a plus.
