We are seeking a Techno-Functional QA Engineer to join our team in Porto (hybrid model).

Here you’ll contact with the European stock market area and will be able to work in a project for a leading global trading platform that knows the importance of surveillance issues and provides technology and managed services to third parties. You’ll also be able to experience a multicultural environment with a strong people culture, being on a team that is spread across several European countries, such as Denmark, Italy, Norway and Portugal.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in software testing, Quality Assurance, or a related technical role.
  • Solid knowledge of functional testing, BDD and test automation frameworks, including the ability to analyse, document and track defects.
  • Good technical knowledge of Linux, Jenkins pipelines, Git, Python and Shell scripting.
  • Experience with database management, backend/API testing, and structured reporting of testing progress, risks, coverage and results.
  • Experience in banking, brokerage or financial markets, with fluent English and Portuguese.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute test strategies, objectives, scope, acceptance criteria and test cases based on risk and business impact.
  • Perform manual and automated testing, functional validation, regression testing and release validation across trading applications.
  • Reproduce, analyse, document and track defects, collaborating with developers and QA teams to investigate issues and validate fixes.
  • Contribute to test automation and CI/CD activities, using BDD, automation frameworks, Jenkins, Git, Linux, Python, Shell and databases.
  • Provide clear reporting on test progress, risks, coverage and results, while contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes and practices.
