Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business system components. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying root causes and ensuring smooth operation of applications, often collaborating with different teams to maintain system stability and performance. The position demands vigilance and adaptability to swiftly address and resolve challenges that impact business continuity.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of application issues.
• Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
• Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on complex issues.
• Continuously monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Red Hat OS Administration.
• Good To Have Skills: Microsoft Azure IaaS, Google Kubernetes Engine.
• Strong understanding of Linux system architecture and command-line tools.
• Experience in managing and troubleshooting server environments and services.
• Ability to automate routine tasks using scripting languages.
• Familiarity with system monitoring and alerting tools to maintain uptime and performance.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Red Hat OS Administration.
• This position is based at our BDC7A - SEZ office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
