Network Engineer - Consultant

Job Description:

• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for the Data Center network environment
• Manage and administer the Data Center network infrastructure
• Analyze, classify, and resolve network incidents
• Optimize and continuously improve existing network architectures to ensure secure and highly available operations
• Serve as the technical contact for internal departments as well as national and international customers
• Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of technical projects after appropriate onboarding ________________________________________ Your Profile
• Degree in Computer Science (or a related field) or completed vocational training in IT
• Professional experience in network administration
• Hands-on experience with networking solutions from Cisco, Fortinet, Check Point and/or Juniper
• Vendor certification in at least one of these technologies is desirable
• Strong knowledge of Switching, Routing (OSPF, BGP, VRF), and VPN
• Very good German and English language skills (written and spoken)
• Willingness to participate in shift work
• High level of flexibility, commitment, creativity, and assertiveness
• Strong analytical skills, self-discipline, and teamwork
