Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring system performance, identifying root causes of disruptions, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with multiple teams to maintain system stability and support business continuity through effective problem-solving and timely interventions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and performance.
• Document troubleshooting processes and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
• Assist in the implementation of system updates and patches to minimize downtime.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when needed.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Red Hat OS Administration.
• Experience in managing and maintaining Linux-based server environments.
• Strong understanding of system monitoring tools and performance tuning.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to operating system and application interactions.
• Familiarity with scripting languages to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
• Knowledge of security best practices and patch management in Red Hat environments.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Red Hat OS Administration.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
