Junior System Administrator - 1642

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented System Administrator to join our team on behalf of one of our major clients in the banking industry.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor systems, perform routine maintenance, and apply patches to support system performance and availability.
• Support daily backup operations and assist in troubleshooting backup issues.
• Assist with storage systems and tape library operations.
• Manage file servers and perform file restores when needed.
• Create and maintain Windows and Linux virtual machines.
• Handle tickets and maintain accurate system documentation and inventory.

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or another relevant field.

• At least 1 year of experience in a Systems Administration role or relevant role, preferably within the Banking sector.

• Experience in Windows and Linux Server environments.

• Familiarity with virtualization environments and VM provisioning.

• Experience in systems monitoring, patch management, and familiarity with enterprise security practices.

• Experience supporting backup operations and storage systems.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent planning and organizational skills.

• Strong oral and written communication skills in Greek and English.

• Ability to work in environments with high availability and security requirements.
