A leading global investment bank is seeking an experienced Production Support Analyst to join its Market Risk Technology team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly visible, business-critical environment supporting applications and infrastructure that underpin the firm's Market Risk function.

You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and resilience of market risk platforms, partnering closely with front-office users, technology teams, and infrastructure stakeholders to deliver seamless operational support. The position offers broad exposure to risk systems, incident management, automation initiatives, and continuous service improvement across a global technology landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day production support for Market Risk applications, ensuring high levels of system availability and performance.
• Investigate and resolve user queries, production incidents, data feed failures, and batch processing issues.
• Manage and prioritise requests through the production support mailbox, delivering timely and accurate responses to stakeholders.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health using industry-standard tools including ITRS, DynaTrace, Splunk, JIRA, and ITSM platforms.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to diagnose issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Lead incident management activities, including escalation, stakeholder communication, root cause analysis, and service restoration.
• Maintain and enhance support documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures.
• Support business continuity testing, audit requirements, and service reporting activities.
• Drive operational excellence through automation and process improvement initiatives, reducing manual intervention and improving efficiency.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Application Production Support within a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and UNIX/Linux.
• Solid understanding of Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes within an ITIL framework.
• Experience with monitoring and scheduling tools such as ITRS, DynaTrace, Splunk, Autosys, or equivalent technologies.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and support tooling.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and proven experience working across globally distributed teams.

Desirable:

• Previous experience within Financial Services, ideally supporting Market Risk platforms or trading environments.
• Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience supporting Windows-based environments.
• Knowledge of reporting and visualisation tools such as Tableau.
• Understanding of market risk concepts, financial products, or investment banking operations.
