What You Will Do
- Collaborate with Funnel and development teams to identify testing requirements during feature definition and design phases.
- Review product requirements, design specifications, and user scenarios to develop comprehensive test strategies and validation plans.
- Participate in design reviews, architecture discussions, and risk assessments.
- Define test coverage for functional, regression, performance, security across BIOS/UEFI and firmware components.
- Work closely with development teams to analyse defects, perform root cause analysis, and improve overall product quality.
- Lead validation readiness activities for NPIs on both x86 and ARM architectures.
- Drive automation strategy and improve validation efficiency through automation frameworks.
- Identify opportunities for AI-assisted productivity improvements for validation
- Customer status updates, communicate risks, and mitigation plans to customer and leadership teams.
- Mentor validation engineers in testing processes, tools, and methodologies
- Proven ability to analyse product requirements and define effective test strategies and validation plans.
- Strong understanding of x86 and ARM architectures and associated platform validation requirements.
- Experience working with development teams to influence design decisions and improve product testability.
- Hands-on experience in firmware security validation, Secure Boot, TPM, and system integrity testing.
- Strong scripting and test automation expertise with experience in designing scalable automation frameworks and CICD Pipelines
- Knowledge of AI/Agentic AI-driven testing approaches and modern test automation practices.
