Job Description
Mirantis is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team as a QA Engineer. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn testing end-to-end — from requirements to release — in a real enterprise environment.
What You'll Do
Quality Assurance & Testing
- Work closely with the team and customers on project requirements and translate them into clear, testable scenarios
- Design testing strategies and test plans for server-side and web applications
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and help validate newly developed features and integrations
- File detailed, reproducible defect reports and provide relevant data for test reporting
- Troubleshoot issues and provide detailed debug information to expedite resolution
- Verify fixes and confirm that functionality works as expected after changes
- Use AI-powered tools to accelerate test case design, generate test data, and analyze results
- Apply AI assistants (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) for research, drafting documentation, and troubleshooting
- Help surface patterns and actionable insights from test and defect data using AI-assisted analysis
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and system engineers to support quality product delivery
- Capture and communicate testing progress, risks, and results clearly to the team and stakeholders
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and customers
- Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, testing methodologies, and testing tools
- Familiarity with writing detailed test cases and filing detailed defect reports
- Ability to troubleshoot and provide detailed debug information for faster issue resolution
- Interest in test automation for server-side and web applications
- Exposure to Salesforce or CRM integrations is a plus
- Comfortable working with AI assistants for research, drafting, and problem-solving tasks
- Basic understanding of how large language models (LLMs) work and their practical limitations
- Ability to write clear, effective prompts to get useful outputs from AI tools
- Awareness of AI ethics, data privacy considerations, and responsible AI use in a professional setting
- Interest in how AI and automation are reshaping QA and enterprise workflows
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English
- A collaborative, detail-oriented, and quality-focused mindset
- Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies quickly
