Job Summary
We are looking for two positions, an Intermediate Project Manager and a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high visibility technology initiatives within a self-managing team. You will oversee projects, influence decisions at a senior stakeholder level, and help mentor teammates. The ideal candidate communicates with authority and precision, operates as a true generalist across different domains, and consistently delivers on time and within budget in waterfall-driven environments. The opportunity has a hybrid work schedule.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of projects using primarily waterfall methodologies; apply agile practices where appropriate.
- Build and maintain detailed project schedules, baselines, and budgets; proactively flag deviations and drive corrective actions to resolution.
- Engage senior stakeholders with strategic clarity, tailoring communication to audience and escalating decisions with well-structured recommendations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors, ensuring dependencies are managed and deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues; anticipate downstream impact across workstreams.
- Mentor/support teammates, sharing best practices and raising overall team delivery standards.
- Track and report portfolio health metrics to leadership through structured status reports and dashboards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and A. 5+ years of professional experience in project or program management for the Intermediate Project Manager OR B. 8+ years for the Senior Project Manager.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken); strong communicator who adapts detail level and tone to the audience.
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex waterfall projects end-to-end, including managing budgets, schedules, and baselines from initiation through closure.
- Deep understanding of different environments; able to engage credibly across technical, operational, and business conversations.
- Methodical problem-solver; breaks down ambiguous, high-stakes situations and structures a clear path forward across unfamiliar domains.
- Proven ability to lead without authority in self-managing, collaborative team structures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and IT service management concepts.
- Exposure to agile/Scrum methodologies in addition to waterfall delivery.
