Senior Engineer for Cybersecurity testing

As our new Senior Engineer for Cybersecurity Testing, you will be performing advanced offensive security testing of Grundfos products within our accredited ISO 17025 CyberLAB, conducting penetration testing, reverse engineering, and firmware analysis on embedded systems and connected devices used by customers worldwide. What You Will Be Doing
As a key part of the CyberLAB, Architecture & Modularization team, you'll create impact by Strengthening the cybersecurity resilience of Grundfos products throughout their lifecycle by identifying vulnerabilities before adversaries do, ensuring compliance with the Cyber Resilience Act and IEC 62443.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Perform penetration testing, reverse engineering, firmware analysis, and cryptographic evaluations on Grundfos embedded systems and connected products
- Assess the security of product interfaces and communication technologies including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, Modbus, JTAG, and proprietary wireless protocols
- Verify product compliance with cybersecurity regulations and standards such as the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and IEC 62443
- Leverage AI-driven tools and techniques to accelerate vulnerability research and contribute to innovative in-house testing solutions
- Develop and maintain security testing procedures, tools, and methodologies within the accredited laboratory environment
- Collaborate with product development about procedure for security test
We would also imagine that you have:
- University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Several years of hands-on experience with penetration testing, embedded systems security, and vulnerability analysis
- Strong knowledge of attack methodologies, Test procedure, reverse engineering, firmware analysis, and encryption technologies
- Solid understanding of IoT architectures, connected products, and embedded software
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, or the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)
- Experience with OT security testing and industrial communication protocols
- Familiarity with AI-assisted security testing tools and approaches
